Intro to Whole in One Health

Whole in One Health is on a mission to improve the health of humanity. While much of our lives are lived in the Information Age, Health is stuck in the Data Age. And most of that data remains siloed, inaccessible and unused. Many great efforts have been made to unlock the data, aggregate it, make great use of it. But the resulting data sets are terribly incomplete and incorrect, not to mention the use cases are not for the direct benefit of the individuals.

We believe only one person can succeed in aggregating their own data and that is the person themselves. And we believe only one person owns and should control their health data and that is the person themselves. We are building the tools to power this transformation. Our primary customer is THE INDIVIDUAL.

As many have said “Big Data is Dumb Data”. Simply aggregating your health data isn’t enough. You, our “member”, will enjoy insights to help you better understand your health, how it may be changing, and challenges that you may face. Those insights are a great step forward, but you also need tools to help you on your journey. What are your next steps? What are your options?

You might ask, where is the doctor in this new ecosystem? All health care providers (“HCPs”), our secondary users, will have the opportunity to be a part of this new

ecosystem. When you face challenges or simply wants to share your data or information with your HCP, you simply click a “Share” button. HCPs will have the tools to request specific information from you, by submitting a share request. You are in full control of your health data.

The third user of Whole in One Health is the researcher. We believe that with enough data and intelligence, all medical mysteries can be solved. By powering our members with the ownership and control of their longitudinal, single point of truth health data sets, we are building an army of members ready to work with the researchers, to license their data to them, to be a part of medical history.

This is how we see the future. The Whole is greater than the sum of the Parts. By focusing on The Whole rather than a small part, we will rapidly serve our members, our HCPs and our researchers, to improve the health of humanity.
